On June 7, Canyon Vista Home in Valle del Sol became the setting for the first edition of The Agency Costa Rica Sessions, a new way for us to bring people into a property with more than a walkthrough in mind.
The afternoon was centered on an open house in Santa Ana, but the experience moved beyond the expected format. Brokers, clients, residents from the community, and members of our team gathered as the home opened toward the canyon, the terrace filled with conversation, and Madriko, the DJ project of our own Santa Teresa real estate expert Korneel Glorieux, played a two hour set into sunset.
It was relaxed, social, and intentional. A chance to see a completed luxury home in Valle del Sol, and also a moment to bring together the people, creativity, and atmosphere that shape how real estate is experienced in Costa Rica.
The Agency Costa Rica Sessions: Real Estate as Experience
The first edition of The Agency Costa Rica Sessions was built around a simple idea: an open house can do more than present a property. It can create a setting where people understand how a home feels in use.
At Canyon Vista Home, that meant giving guests time to move through the interiors, step onto the terrace, take in the canyon views, and experience the home as the afternoon shifted into sunset. The music added atmosphere without competing with the architecture. It gave the event a natural rhythm and made the home feel active, social, and connected to the people moving through it.

This approach reflects how we think about real estate in Costa Rica. Strong design, a prime location, and refined finishes matter, but so does the way a home supports everyday living, entertaining, and connection. A property like Canyon Vista Home is designed for those moments, and the open house allowed guests to experience that directly. Attendees were able to see not only the home’s features, but also the lifestyle it supports.
Canyon Vista Home Set the Scene
Located in Valle del Sol, one of Santa Ana’s most established gated golf and residential communities, Canyon Vista Home offered the right setting for the first Session.
The home is now completed and move in ready, with a modern single level design, clean architectural lines, and floor to ceiling windows that frame panoramic canyon views. Its open concept social areas connect directly to the terrace, private pool, jacuzzi, gardens, and outdoor kitchen, creating a natural flow for entertaining.
As the sun began to set over Santa Ana, guests moved between the interiors and outdoor living spaces. They experienced the home as it was intended to be lived in. The design allowed the event to feel open and fluid, with canyon views and garden as part of the atmosphere.
For buyers looking at luxury real estate on the western side of San José, Canyon Vista Home reflects what makes Santa Ana compelling: convenience, privacy, security, and a strong residential lifestyle within reach of the city.
Madriko Behind the Decks
The guest DJ for the evening was Santa Teresa Real Estate Expert Korneel Glorieux, also known as Madriko.
Korneel is part of The Agency Costa Rica team and brings a unique perspective to the brand. Born in Belgium and now based in Santa Teresa, he works as a Santa Teresa real estate expert. He doest this while also maintaining a creative identity through music.
For this first Session, Madriko played a two hour set during the open house. The music shaped the tone of the evening without overpowering the property. It gave the event a relaxed energy, encouraged guests to stay, and created a rhythm that matched the sunset setting.
One of the most memorable moments was not staged. At different points, others joined in with Madriko’s guidance, adding small, spontaneous contributions to the set. It was simple, collaborative, and very much in the spirit of the event.
That spirit is central to the purpose of the Sessions: support talent within and around our community, create memorable real estate experiences, and bring people together in ways that feel authentic to Costa Rica.

Supporting Art, Music, and Talent
The first Session also reflected something we believe strongly: luxury real estate in Costa Rica is connected to culture.
Not culture as a decorative layer, but as part of the way people live here. Music, art, design, food, landscape, and community are not separate from the home. They are part of the daily experience of owning one.

That is why inviting Korneel Glorieux felt natural. Korneel is both a real estate advisor and a creative voice within our wider community. Born in Belgium and now based in Costa Rica, he brings a perspective shaped by movement, place, and sound.

That is the purpose of The Agency Costa Rica Sessions moving forward. It aims to create thoughtful gatherings around exceptional homes, while giving space to talent and creative energy.
This first edition marked the beginning of a broader concept.
Each Session will be different, shaped by the property, the setting, the people, and the moment.
