The Disegno Casa team visited Panorama 180, a 3-tower project in Escazú, to chat with Melissa Lacayo about customization and styles.

Panorama 180 in Escazu is a great example of personalization of spaces within luxury apartments. Each apartment’s finishes were chosen to create a unique space for its owners.

Karina Uriarte from Disegno Casa, the interior design team, spoke to the LX team about creating extraordinary spaces through careful finishes and design.

“Well, today we are at Panorama 180 with Karina. We are here for an inspection with her to explain the type of windows and glass used in this project. Karina, please tell us about the requirements and how the project went. Also, share the type of training you provide to our clients.”

“For us, this project has been an emblematic one, apart from being of high standard and beautiful. We have worked with PVC windows from Luplast, as you can see. We also worked on country kitchens, bathroom countertops, and glass balconies, which offer a spectacular view.

In some of the apartments, we also worked on automation and different ways to use our product. It’s not just furniture; it can be used as paneled walls and more. The majority of the clients personalized their apartments, and the project allowed them the advantage to do so. Each one used their preferred materials; many used neutral colors like grays, blacks, creams, and wooden tones.

Here, we have one of the standard kitchens of the project. As you can see, each client was able to choose different finishes. As mentioned before, we have matte colors that combine with wood tones, resulting in a beautiful outcome. In this apartment, the client also combined it with a Mistral-colored countertop, which is one of our bestsellers.

We also had the opportunity to make bathroom furniture in this project. In this apartment, we combined wood tones, neutral colors, grays, and light colors like this countertop, which are quite versatile for clients.”

Karina mentions the importance that material choice has during the personalization of spaces. In the case of Panorama 180, windows are the heart-stopper of the show. Each apartment features floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the city of Escazú and Heredia’s mountains, so their quality and durability were important factors to consider when choosing them.

There is a clear tendency in design when it comes to color choice.

Most of the customers chose to customize their colors, and many used neutral yones, such as gray, black in some cases, cream, and wooden colors.

Neutral tones seem to be the most sought-after colors when it comes to home finishes. The combinations of these give a sophisticated minimalist look. The importance of this type of choice relies on the versatility that it brings to spaces in the long run, adding timeless beauty to every room.

LX Costa Rica offers two personalized apartments at Panorama 180, The Horizon Apartment Escazú and Escazú Overlook Apartment. Both feature top-of-the-line finishes, views, and access to Panorama’s exclusive shared commodities.
